Now that would be something. As the official website says "find out march 29th". I know that it´s the start of the tour. But maybe the album will be released on the same day (at least as a download for NPGMC members)?

I would think the musicology section of NPGMC will open on that day. Whether the downloads will be available, is uncertain but I would guess a whole lot more information will be available both to members and non-members at that section of http://www.npgmusicclub.com/home.html

The "hard copy" release date for the 29th seems very doubtful when he said himself last tuesday that the distributer(s) have not been decided yet.

I will hope that the statement of providing CDs at the concerts come true for the first show!

There was an ad in our student newspaper for the Ames, IA show on April 8th. On tuesday, the 25th, the following ad was run in the entertainment insert called High Notes:



In the bottom right-hand corner, it's a bit illegible, but it says, "Buy a ticket get the new cd for free at the show."

Of course there's still the question of whether this is only for people who buy through Ticketmaster. But you'd think if anybody is getting a free cd for attending, it'd be the club members...

Also note that Prince somehow managed to convince the promoters to insert two bits of Princebonics in the tagline at the bottom of the pic
