Official press release for Tiger Jam concert with ticket info

Prince, Tiger Woods Team Up for Tiger Jam VII, an SBC-Sponsored Event

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- Prince will join Tiger Woods at the
Tiger Jam Benefit Concert, an SBC-sponsored event on May 29, 2004 at the
Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas. The annual benefit concert, hosted
by Woods, will raise funds for the Tiger Woods Learning Center, an education
facility in Southern California, and local charities.

"I am sure Prince will put on an amazing concert, and I'm so happy he has
decided to join us for what will be a very memorable Tiger Jam," Woods said.
"I am delighted to be working with Prince and SBC Communications Inc. to help
underserved youth through the Tiger Woods Learning Center."

In addition to announcing Prince as this year's performer, the Foundation
also announced that SBC Communications, Inc., a diversified communications
company, owning several of the world's leading data, voice and Internet
service providers, has contracted to be the new presenting sponsor of the
Tiger Jam Benefit Concert for the next three years (2004-2006).

"The SBC family of companies is honored to partner with the world's
premier golfer to benefit underserved youth through the Tiger Woods
Foundation," said Ray Wilkins, Group President, SBC Marketing and Sales. "The
Tiger Jam sponsorship demonstrates the strong SBC commitment to young people
and to the Las Vegas community."

Tickets for the concert, to be held Memorial Day weekend, will go on sale
to the general public beginning Feb. 28 at 10:00 a.m. PST, and can be
purchased through Ticketmaster Charge-By-Phone lines at (702) 474-4000, at all
Ticketmaster retail ticket centers, http://www.ticketmaster.com, and at the Mandalay
Bay Events Center Box Office. Individual tickets are priced at $65 and $125.

Prince has sold more than 100 million records and is regarded by fans and
critics alike as a monumental force and influence in popular culture. During
the '80s, Prince emerged as one of the most singular talents in the history of
music, releasing a series of groundbreaking albums that both defined and
captured the spirit of the times. With each successive album, Prince has
shown remarkable stylistic growth and musical diversity, constantly
experimenting with different sounds, topics and genres. Few artists have
created a body of work as rich and varied.

The Las Vegas-based concert series was created in 1998 by the Tiger Woods
Foundation, an organization dedicated to inspiring dreams in America's youth.
Since it's inception, Tiger Jams I -- VI have raised more than $6 million.
Proceeds from previous Tiger Jams have supported Child Haven, Center for
Independent Living, Greater Las Vegas Inner City Games, Boys & Girls Club of
Las Vegas, UNLV Women's Athletics, GRAMMY in the Schools and The VH1 Save the
Music Foundation.

So I wonder, what the deal is with the two Vegas shows 5/29 and 5/30. Is only the first show part of Tiger Jam? Is the Sunday show just a regular Musicology date without any connection to the Tiger Jam?

Top tix for Tiger Jam are $125, which is much more than the $85 top price for LA. I'm wondering if Sundays show will be a bit cheaper or if everything is marked up in Vegas.

Any advice or info is appreciated...

I think you've got it right. The second show will most likely be a Musicology tour date, while the first will strictly be a benefit concert...with probably several more guests.
