Jeez, has it been 8 years since I graduated from PSU? You guys definitely don't need to go to a TGI Fridays or anything...The town has several appropriate gathering spots downtown on College Ave...Haven't been to one of His Royal Badness' shows in 5 years and am really lookin' 4ward 2 it!...any idea where y'all are hangin' after the show?

Wait til you see what's happened to our little town. It's not so little anymore and there are several new bars downtown as well as lots of new resturants and places to shop. Do you remember the place I am talking about? If you are coming from Sheilds Building (driving down University Drive) toward the little exit that swings around onto College Ave., you continue up College Ave. toward town and the little bar is right where that one pizza place use to be. The buliding was white then, but now it's a Hooters. I am going to go look next week or maybe this weekend and I'll get the info. like I said b4. I left State College 8 years ago as well. I moved home, but not too far from there, although far enough to keep my ass out of trouble! That place is party central around here and I couldn't stop having fun biggrin I had to grow up a little.....lol Anyway.....

I defintely want to be in line by 5pm if the doors open at 6. I don't care what time we meet. I'll find out the other info next week. I've not been part of the fan club for any other concerts, so I have no clue what to do. Those of you in the know please speak up.

there are tons of hotels in State College with various price ranges. Have you checked online? There is one that rings in my head called the Stevens Hotel. it's about 7-8 blocks from town, not too bad. I'd check online though because like I said b4, State College has grown so much and I don't know the place like I use to because I am not a party head anymore.

okay.....mr.green

sorry it took so long, but here it is:

The Allen Street Grille
100 West College Avenue
State College, Pa 16801
814-231-4745

This isn't the place I had origionally thought of, but it's much nicer and is centrally located between the various hotels you all are staying at. It's right in the middle of town, sort of a laid back place with a piano bar, great food and a nice view of the area. Located on Allen Street, of course, and ABOVE the Corner Room. You can't miss it. It's right on the corner of Allen Street and College Avenue, white building with tons of windows. It's a pretty popular place so if any of you get turned around at all (pretty impossible because the town is so small), just ask someone on the street. I hope this is okay with everyone. It's about a 5-10 minute drive to the Jordan Center. The manager of the place asked if we wanted a private room. Do you guys want a private room? If so, I need to reserve it soon. I personally don't think it's necessary, but you all tell me. If you need some sort of map or whatever, let me know and if you need me to pick you up, org-note me and I'll give you my phone number.
Can't wait!

just want to remind everyone that we are meeting around 3pm. I forgot to add that to the other post. I have also been contacted by peeps who are asking where the rest of you are staying as well as who is coming into town the night b4 and hanging out. If you can, please post your info for others. Not that I mind, but I have a hard time keeping track of all of you! lol
