UNIVERSITY PARK, PA - Since releasing his first album "For You" in 1978,
PRINCE has proven to be one of the most influential figures in modern rock
history. His unique mixture of rock, funk and pop, combined with his unique
producing and composing skills, will earn him an induction into the Rock &
Roll Hall of Fame next month.

A four-time Grammy award winner, Prince has compiled 22 Top 10 hits,
11 of which reached #1. He was also ranked #18 on VH1: Greatest Artists of
Rock & Roll in 1998. In 1984, Prince starred in the film "Purple Rain", but
it was the success of the movie's soundtrack that gave Prince the most
acclamation. The 13x platinum LP included the #1 hits, "When Doves Cry," "Let's Go
Crazy," and "Purple Rain." Rolling Stone later named the album #2 on
its list of "100 Best Albums of the 80s."

Other Prince hits include "Money Don't Matter 2 Night", "I Wanna Be
Your Lover", "Thieves In The Temple", "Diamonds and Pearls", "Little Red
Corvette", "Sign O' The Times", "Rasberry Beret", "Take Me With You",
"U Got The Look", "Alphabet City", "Delirious", "Gett Off", "Cream", "Kiss",
and "1999."


TICKET INFORMATION:
Center Stage reserved tickets are priced at $68.50 and $45.00.
Tickets will go on sale Saturday, February 21 at 10:00 a.m. Tickets will be
available at The Bryce Jordan Ticket Center, Eisenhower Auditorium,
Downtown Theatre, select Uni-Marts, the Altoona Campus ticket outlet or charge
by phone at 814-865-5555, or 800-863-3336, or online at www.bjc.psu.edu.
Wristbands will be made available Friday, February 20 from 8:00 a.m.
until 6:00 p.m., and Saturday, February 21 from 8 a.m. until 9 a.m.
Wristbands are for ticket buyers wishing to purchase tickets at the Bryce Jordan
Ticket Center only.

Actually...PP7 asked me in the npgmc chatroom where I heard it..it was an email by the venue btw wink Right after that npgmc spread the "Musicology" video link in an email btw...

What new cd are they giving away for free? Musicology? I'm very surprised at that being as the ticket prices are so much cheaper then usual. Is this even real?

The next question is if tickets go on sale Saturday when do members buy their tickets. Not that I am going to Penn State or anything.

How big is this venue?

Cool to hear about the new CD, this must mean the new album will be out around the same time or maybe even earlier!

Yeah, but when. This s*** drives me crazy.

Ok, first we find out about the info from somewhere other than NPGMC. (Where you're supposed to get the NEWS first)

Then ticket for reserved seating are ready for sale in 3 days.

Now, there will be presale tickets available for members, but when do know when.

Since a lot of the venues have been selling out in minutes, what am I (a member) supposed to do. Wait and see if I can get a member ticket and possibly miss out and then get lousy seats because I didn't get in on the First day of the venue sale.
