Question bout' paisley park...

My band is going to be playing in minneapolis on friday the 27th, and I was wondering if anyone knew if there might be a paisley performance that night. I know how to get there, I've been to many shows there. Just wondering if he's been partying lately.

You never know. Prince might be back in Minneapolis by the time you get to play your gig. And he might not. It all depends right now.

Prince and The Band have been in California and Vegas for a handful of weeks now and with more of these one-off and two-night rehearsal gigs, he might announce something closer to his home ...

... and he might not. Seems he has gota lot on his plate right now and he will connect the pieces of the puzzle as he sees hit. There is only one thing for sure, he will have to make it back t New York City for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction gala.

Best of luck, though ...

Prince has not played a Friday night gig at PP in over two years so I wouldn't hold your breath. They are a thing of the past.

So you're lucky enough to live in Minneapolis? I have been there in 1992 and allways wanted to come back again - maybe someday it will be true.

OK - the twin-cities nearly belong together smile

I really liked these towns when i was there, allthough many other americans on my trip through the stats asked me, what I am gonna do at this "cold" part of USA. I have been there in November, the weather was nice, not to cold and we learned to know a lot of really nice people.

I have a feeling that with all the excitement and media prince has been involved in he may do a couple of parties to keep things stimulated when he can.

You never know with this fella, and I think that the parties are not a thing of the past, maybe he's just been layin' off a while. I can't believe all of a sudden he'd just stop doing them all together. Not the partyman.
