I went to purchase one ticket from the backstage area-had one in the box-the phone rang-talked for 5 minutes-went back and now it's sold out and I lost my one ticket!!!Anyone got an xtra ticket? Please let me know be4 I cancel my plane reservations...

I would love it if Prince did a tour of House o' Blues across the country...I think the Chicago HoB is a great, great venue.

I bought one and then found out it was 21 and over. They now say they will refund my purchase. Maybe one ticket will be on there later.

i hear you, beautiful1. i've been in meetings all day long. checked my email after work-- what do you know? missed out on getting tickets! i'm so incredibly bummed out that i could cry that i'm missing out on another concert this week. had to miss Vegas due to family stuff... and the fact that the hotel rooms cost so dang much.

According to NPGMC: There will be tix available to the public this Friday at 10 am PST through Ticketmaster.com. Fair warning...

NPGMC needs to be informed that we REQUIRE more advance warning since they charged us for their service. We also need some more goddamn tickets, and probably more restrictions on how many you can buy at once, and cut down on the VIPs and celebs and put more member tickets up.

If the show is announced AND tickets go on sale AND they sell out all in a few hours?? That's seriously a fucked up service there, NPGMC.

Well it seems NPGMC won't be getting any special treats only let in first. A post from a moderator indicated there weren't plans for a soundcheck, etc. because of such short notice and the fact that Prince will be coming from the Grammy's. So, it may not be so bad to get tix from HOB or Ticketmaster. We just won't be up so close. HOB is standing room and loud as hell so I'm sure it'll be a good experience wherever we stand.

NAMM got me free shows with my true faves PFUNK & LIVING COLOUR. Plus some sweet discounts and surprises with WAR, MACY GRAY, SOULIVE, ME'SHELL, MAKTUB, BO DIDDLEY and MACEO; plus the ongoing residency of NU PHOUND NATION makes me feel well-steeped in funk.

The Prince and Stevie shows would be sweet, but I ain't sweating what I can't get at. Y'all have fun (with a "K"), I know you can do it.

What I have a problem with is the fact that the club gives such short notice and has a notoriously spotty email delivery system, so MANY MANY members only found out about this show after it was already sold out.

Ticketmaster doesn't charge people to be on its mailing list, and they give you a fuck of a lot more advance warning than that.
