I DID!! It was also my first aftershow. I was sooo psyched as I had been reading about the European ones. I think I even had my first couple of boots (on VINYL!!!) of those, like New Morning and something else...
They played the 12" version of I Wish U Heaven (Pts. 1, 2 and 3). It hadnt been released yet so I was trippin'! Then Patti labelle came out as they did Positivity together. I remember being amazed that I was so close I could see the bluish veins on Prince's hands as he played hte guitar. I was in awe. I have since seen him in many smalll clubs,as Im very lucky to make wonderful New York City my home, but that was a very special show on a very special tour. I was a crazy fan, but those Lovesexy shows solidified it for life! Purplehead | |
