Morris doesn't show up to the Benefit show last night. It was his birthday, but I can't think of a better way to spend your birthday then being adored by a crowd of fans? The crowd sang HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sheila, but she eventually had to "play" the part of Morris during The Time's set because he wanted to be paid. Paid to work at a benefit show!

The other isssue I have with Mr. Day is how the band is now called MORRIS DAY AND THE TIME. What's up with that? Morris is a band member of The Time. Now it seems that he is a solo act and he is backed by the band.

And whats up with the stage show? They are playing the same show for the last 10 years. I would say it was starting to get lame but that would be old news. The next time the crowd shouts 'WHAT TIME IS IT?' he needs to learn that it is time to spruce up the old act. Put in a few different songs, a different order, maybe even a NEW TRACK or two!!! The band could easily put out a new album of stuff or even a box set of old stuff and some new tracks. Whats up with that?

Morris, if you are reading this, do something soon baby. I love you but if you keep this up, you ain't gonna have to go home but you're gonna have to get the hell out of here!

Morris don't do drugs, I'm sure of that. Morris does need money to pay his bills I'm sure and if he played this show, then he couldn't play for awhile in the LA area and he would lose alot of money, and doesnt he usualyy playa round New Year's in the LA area?

I think they should change their set, but Morris is doing the Vegas act thing, assuming every time he plays it's a new crowd that hasn't seen it before so play the exact show, plus no rehearsals needed if you don't change the set..

Morris and the nw time hung out with a friend of mine after their show awhile back and morris didn't even drink, and he was more than nice to the fans.. He's a good guy, but I really believe he can't afford to play LA for free.

and I found it ironic that Sheil dressed up like Morris last night and assaulted him verbally...but not one di sent Prince's way.

What's the hullabaloo about either one showing up if they didn't agree to do it?

Is it that some of you think one has to exhibit their altruism in front of cameras or in public to believe they do it at all? Everybody's methods aren't the same as yours, mine, or whoever else. Just as you think there are valid reasons for your charity methods (if you have them at all), there may be valid reasons for them choosing not to go along with the Family Jamm method. Their mo's/practices aren't superior to yours, nor yours to theirs.
