he'll be here for glastonbury (end of June) so expect shows around this time...as he's peddling purple rain again, he may jump up to the big arenas again, rather than the apollo etc like for ONA...

if he tours i imagine he will stick to the big cities - london, birmingham, manchester...the chances of him playing anything more local are pretty remote...but then remember he is playing glastonbury which is south west...and i guess there is an outside chance he may play a warm-up in the area, but would have thought it more likely he'll do a club-only warm-up in london...but this is just guess work...

and touring with the time? i would have said extremely unlikely to ever happen again...but with the revolution reunion etc coming up, it seems you cannot write anything off...

I've heard he's thinking of playing Northern working men's clubs.

Can anyone tell me ur sources about glastobury??

A friend told me Eavis had made an announcement on the glasto site that he had spoken to Prince's people and it was confirmed for this yr, but I can't find it, and the whole thing about Glastonbury is that acts are never confirmed especially by Eavis until the fest happens although occasionally it gets leaked.

being a glasto regular, for prince to perform there would be truely orgasmic.

the glastonbury line is probably on the org somewhere - eavis said prince had been in talks about the 2003 headline slot, but in the end it was agreed he would play the sunday night 'golden oldie' slot in 2004.

the sunday night slot, coincidentally, sees the artist given top billing in exchange for them playing the hits - and not simply churning out new, unrecognisable-to-most stuff.

everyone dismissed the prospect when it was first touted as prince wasn't doing a hits package. now, however, he is clearly doing a heavy purple rain hits package to capitalise of the 20th anniversary...therefore, the prospect and reliability of the story (which was pretty strong anyway, as eavis was quoted directly) seems to have even more grounding in fact.

oh, and although i haven't been for the past few years, glastonbury will cost the best part of £120 (maybe a bit more, bit less, cannot remember what they went for this year)...and yes, 16-year-olds can go...

u send the equivalent value as to ur ticket then when u finish ur shifts u get that refunded...the job depends on what u want to do, if u haven't been before then, oxfam, water aid or the recycling crew would be best...oxfam do the gates, water aid gives out water and recycling is the bins etc

Maybe he'll do the Playhouse at Weston Super Mare whilst he's there on his holiday.

Yeah, duets with the Three Bees - a supergroup comprising the cream of British talent - Blue, Busted and Billie.

He sometimes likes to jam with the Wurzels and Reg Presley from the Troggs. Although things did get a little frosty when Reg took P looking for crop circles and P stepped into a fresh cow pat whilst wearing some brand new stilleto cuban heels.

Sorry Andy. I couldn't resist it. The Devil told me to do it.

I can tell you are only a child because you continue to ask stupid question which no one can obviously answer, when is Prince playing, we simply do not and cannot be expected to know. Do what everyone else does and wait for the usual last minute announcement. Go to your room.
