Aloha and welcome to all things for the Hawaii concert series...I'm just trying to set up a central area where visitors and locals can meet and ask questions leading up 2 the big days on Oahu and Maui. Hopefully this can help everyone have a great time and ease any worries for visitors to the island...Online in most places I am Wishuhvn but in the real world-U can call me that Prince guy...But my name is Tony and I have been known as "that Prince guy" since 84. I'm sure many others have been identified in much the same way...I've lived here on Oahu for the past 5 years and have met a few other local big Prince fans in just the last year...I'd like to have something similiar to the Bumpsquad in LA or other Prince formations such as the San Fran, Chicago, Detroit, or NYC groups...Nothing formal but a loose knit group of Princely People...
So if U have any questions-please ask them here...I personally have opened up my home to two people flying in from the mainland for both shows-Both huge fans and one that my wife and I consider a friend that we met at last year's LA's shows...If people flying in need a place to clean up, change or email I should be able to help out...Hopefully others will step 4 ward to help out as well with picking people up from the airport and what not...If I can help U save money-I will...Hawaii is not the cheapest place to visit or live...
So please join in if you'll be out here or live here and are going to the shows...Also, if you have an extra ticket (member or general) this is the place to let us know...I know of two people who would really love a members ticket and would pay full price...If there wasn't that 2 ticket limit, I could have helped them...So Aloha and welcome 2 Hawaii~~~

I love Hawaii , I have bene there more times than I can coun ton one hand and I am definitely going back sometime soon , not in time for these gigs though

True I have never been off the main island yet ...but I am getting to the others..

It's gonna be a beautiful 2 nights for us, now ain't it! I just got off the phone with my sister back in Cali and she may let us fly her out here for this show...I've been trying to get her out here for 5 years now and it looks like she finally may make it...I'm so fortunate that we can afford a 350 ticket to get her here...O well, this is her XMAS and birthday gift (Jan 2 is her b day)...I am so psyched for that week 2 get here...Aloha~

Prince playing on the beach around the camp fire?

I've actually received quite a few responses through email...4 some reason people prefer to email me their questions rather than post here...I understand why and I respect there reasons...Prince is playing Blaisdale Arena whick hold a couple of thousand and he's playing the Castle Theater on Maui which I believe that not one seat is more tha 90' from the stage...Both places are going to be great! I've been doing a lot of word of mouth advertising 4 Prince...It just seems like a lot of people don't know about the show unless they listen to the one 80's radio station...I'm telling everyone...I want this place filled up...I know of people comging from Asia, Detroit, LA, and Sweden...It's going to be a blast...I know Prince loves the islands and we love him...Aloha~

2 More Nights!!! I have 3 folks from the mainland (met only one) staying at my place...Got 8 people to buy tix...helping people from 3 different nations get around the island (concert-afterparties-accomodations)...this is what Prince's music is about, making new friends and getting reaquainted with old ones...What a great way to end this year for all of us here in Hawaii...and I get 2 go 2 Maui on Friday...
Not bragging-just happy 2 be sharing Prince with some of my closest friends...

1st off I would like to thank Wishuhvn. I am one of his house guest and you are wonderful host. You are so correct about meeting new friends at Prince shows. So the next time you are near Detroit ya got a place to stay.

The entire trip has been nothing short of amazing. The Family Jamm was great, then I decided to to Hawaii for the shows and Prince gives me a tamborine at the soundcheck. I keeps saying can it get any better, We'll find out in Maui
