At least by those who don't have their heads up their asses Most of those who still remember who Prince is have been "up to thier asses" in laughter.. since Prince was yesterdays' joke of the decade. He must not be able to pay us bodyguards again on loners unless he pays up front.

Sending him to a field in my soggy home village woudl be suicide...especially with all his diva demands. I disagree..there is no way this man will get booed off!! i was at the hong kong fest and i saw the peoples reaction! these were people who hadnt heard or listened to prince since the 80's! the majority of people in the UK are the same. they havent heard prince since the 80's! trust me...not only will his concerts this year show the world he's back (never been gone!) but he will also introduce people to his new music. when it comes to the business of music...Prince was born to do it. "On the 7th day, He made me..." Prince is respected because the majority of people do not know him and what they do know is of his music then... Whether he plays at Glasto or not is not the question we should be thinking about...it should be when? keep in touch with NPGMC. [This message was edited Fri Jan 9 14:29:58 PST 2004 by franked]

but for now... i've just found out The Cure are playing!!! For real? What's your source? You have to be really cautious with Glastonbury. There's never any line-up announcement until after it's sold out and there are always more headliners rumoured than there are headline slots. PP8 (or whatever) put a message in the forums in NPGMC that it is a rumor.

Prince should play Glastonbury and i agree with the earlier post - Later with Jools Holland. A spot on Parkinson even, with the right song/medley could show the general public what he's actually capable of (and sell a lot of CDs - if that's what he wants). I don't think non-fans really no much about him, only what they've read in The Sun.

Good, sensible points, but Prince is not sensible. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently
