My PRINCE Credit Card!

After last week's experience...

I have now got a new credit card with a $5k limit reserved for Prince only!

If any tour is announced, out comes the card and I'm off!

I'm friggin addicted...my two cute little Italian friends that are up to Prince gig number 324 are on to something I tell u.

I hope you are able to afford these credit card payments because a concert is probably not worth financial ruin at 20 percent interest.

Yes I've met those two Italian girls at quite a few concerts. I thought I was a big fan, but even I would not got to every concert at this point. They must really enjoy the traveling and still love the music as much as ever.

I was thinking the same thing.

I say with all seriousness that people shouldn't over-extend themselves. Credit can be a dangerous thing.

I actually have a separate savings account called Prince. I put money in there each pay just in case! I started this account back in '86 after seeing the Parade tour. I desperately wanted to see more but couldn't afford it but vowed I would see more next time. The next time came with SOTT and he wasn't coming to London so I had no choice but to go over to Europe, thank God for the savings account.

Making the trip overseas for a concert was a huge buzz and in some ways enhanced the experience if that is at all possible and so began the increase in savings.

Now living in Australia I have had to spend a little more in seeing the tours as you first of all gotta get Stateside or back to Europe and I was ecstatic when dates were announced here as Australia is now home and this was one thing I never thought I would get to experience here.

But please please, don't run up the credit cards, it can lead to dangerous things as someone else has posted. Tours don't happen very often and as little as a tenner a week can soon add up. Quit buying bootlegs etc and that will add to the funds!

Sorry speech over, just seen too many people fall through the years doing this. Love4oneanother and all that!
In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. It says cross the line, cross the line. I know everything is not always what it seems, so I pinch myself daily just in case it's a dream

I'm not talking bout running up huge debts for friggin rock concerts! Just good to have funds available if needed for a P tour, I would only do it once every 6-12 months and I have the means to cover it...SO THERE!!!

I maxed my cards OUT on this last trip but its been totally worth it. As long as you have a manageable limit and you can pay it back as quick as you can the interest shouldn't hit you too hard. If I lived in the States or Europe I'd definitely start some kind of P fund, but from NZ the flights (and time) make it a little out of reach. Take the opportunity while you can get it.
