The complete concert experience

I didn't realise how worthwhile it was to be in the NPGMC when it comes concert time. For those who don't know... buy your tickets through the music club... get the "diamond" tickets so you can go to the sound check *and* the concert *and* the aftershow. Make sure you join a few weeks before the concert - so you'll be on their printout, then you'll be able to get the wristbands for the aftershow, regardless of ticket.

It was sad to see someone who bought on stage tickets having to hassle to get a wristband for the aftershow (she got them, eventually).

Thanks to the promotions staff and to John Blackwell for helping to sort out our ticket problems!

I guess this was old news to everyone - are there any other hints or suggestions people have for concert goers?

Kylee and RonnyRon knew to dress distinctive to get noticed in the crowd. Kylee's red hair and no doubt her enthusiasm had her up on the big screens right through the concert in Brisbane - as did Cha-Cha's not-so-subtle, but flattering attire. And Ronny pimped his way up onto the stage!

One thing we didn't predict was how long we'd go without food. There were snacks for the VIPs after the sound check... but who was interested in food? The Indy Temple (aftershow) had absolutely no food left (chips, CC's) and they wouldn't let us out to go buy some.

When he comes back - I'll have a stash of food in the car!
