Should this b referred 2 as the N.E.W.S tour?  noticed that this tour has no name, and a lot of people are referring 2 it as "Prince Live", or "The Aussie Tour 2003" as it says on my T-shirt, both unbearably lame names - think from now on we should call it the N.E.W.S tour, sounds a lot cooler and makes sense since it directly follows the album's release. On the other hand, it's a greatest-hits, commercial tour, dead against the spirit of the N.E.W.S album...

i though it was just "the world tour", he didnt really sing or promote much from his N.E.W.S album... "was i the first, was i your every fantasy" | |

I think it should have been called "In The Raw".
But then again, N.E.W.S...north east south west pretty much encompasses the world  In the distance a light shines and I know it is mine. Someday I will touch it because it calls me. How about THE PRINCE MUSICOLOGY TOUR 2003/04 ??
'Musicology' sums up the musically eclectic set-list on this tour which drew from old & new songs and lot's of funk classics. Also Prince 'debuted' the song Musicology at the 'aftershows' so it could be seen as fitting... What do yer think? | |
