Goodbye, sweet Prince I don't know about anyone else, but I'm feeling a little sad - now it's all over. Or maybe it's the fatigue. Is there such a thing as post-Prince depresssion (PPD)?
I knew at the Brisbane concert I was going into overload. How did the guys dancing on stage stand it?!?! Better to have partied (and said goodbye), than never to have partied at all.

I'll Take one of those too, thanx Damn I always knew Rhonda was fine, but when u see her in the flesh Rad had it going on at the aftershow at The Basement Friday night too!. She had those Pipilongstocking platts in her hair. Nothing drives me wild in a girl if she wears hoop earings, but now i gotta say, u can add the platts 2 that as well, and if she's rockin' both at the same time - Xperience the Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com/

Going back to work yesterday after a week off with Prince is a major downer...

It's definitely a well documented medical problem.
After the weeks long celebration in 2002, we all experienced a sort of depression. Funny isn't it. One person can give you so much strife, so much frenzy and then the big let down after it's all over. Oh well, I just hope he's making his way to the States or at least to the Family Jamm. Anyway Ozians, peace. **************************************************

Me too, I have Post Prince depression, I saw him in Hong Kong and been a fan of his music for about 15 years, so I finally get to see him, he was AWESOME, but then it was over!!! Boo Hoo!!!

Man, and I thought I was the only one! I know exactly the feeling, guys - he put on a hell of a show, you had a blast, but now it's all over and he'll probably never be back again.
Oh well, I'm sure we'll get over it sometime...

If There Is, Im Suffering From It Ditto. Last week was one full of mixed emotions. Not only was the 'big event' over (Hong Kong), but I kept on reading all these amazing reports coming from Oz! It was like shagging the best looking girl in the world, then seeing her go off and shag all your buddies. I didn't feel like listening to any Prince or anything else I had, so went out and bought some new music. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

It's the first Bowie album I've ever bought. I just wanted to listen to something completely new. The album's great! I haven't been able to stop listening to it and it was the only music I listened to for a week. Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

i somehow feel better knowing u all feel as miserable as me, when i got back to new zealand. my wife (who always liked prince, but is now a princeophile, after sydney show) ordered me to play ONA live. i went straight to the piano section, and started to cry a bit, im a 29 yr old man for goodness sake.
lets start a PA(princeaholics annonymous) support group. imagine meeting the person of your dreams, and spending one night of passion with them. then the next day they leave, u leave and you are never going to see them again, all u have is amazing memories. thats what this feels like. If the milk turns out to be sour, I aint the kinda pussy to drink it!

Phew, I thought it was just me! I was worried I might need help or something
I think we may all need a get-together which could sort of double as a group therapy session. I have an aversion to hugging guys though - but happy to offer my support in other ways. In a couple of hundred years historians may discover that Prince's lyrics were written by Christopher Marlowe.

Not sad at all...Still smiling after flying to Brissy from Adelaide and partying all night at the concert and the Indie Temple aftershow. Im an extremely happy camper. The aftershow? What can I say? Just cant wipe the smile off my face trying to believe my good fortune. Hey ya'll who were at the Indie Temple...are ya still smilin? What a show. Didnt want it to end. Just too funky for words...Cant wait for next time...
