Did Prince play the "Critics" song in Sydney as well? On Wed, 22/10, Prince played a brilliant song, among many, a sort of extended riff, called "The Critics Luv U in Melbourne". Did he do the same in Sydney too?

Yes, at least on the first night anyway. I wasn't there the second night.

:I: was there on the 24th, he was really good with the patriotism thing that rockstars do a lot...
"Y'all making me never wanna leave this funky city!" "Someone told me that Sydney likes funky music. Is that right?" "Don't play with me, Sydney!" So much good fun... Reminds me of Spinal Tap on the Simpsons: "We were driving down... ROUTE 401!" (Bart: "That's just four miles from my house!") "And we thought they knew how 2 rock in Shelbyville!" (Crowd: "BOOO!!") "But nobody rocks like..." *checks back of guitar* "..Springfield!" [This message was edited Mon Oct 27 4:20:09 PST 2003 by MrSquiggle]
