Did any of you know about the concert in OZ before it was released to the public, either through here or as a NPGMC member???

If you are asking about whether anyone here knew about the OZ concerts before any of the above was released, there were certainly rumours of him touring Australia before the announcement was made.

We heard rumours EVERY year for the last 11 years! We asked Prince during one of our meet n greet whether he actually did plan to tour OR the rumours were crap... he said the promotor has to keep his name in the news somehow doesnt he???...

I personally didnt hear a thing about this tour until i saw it on the news one morning while eating my brekkie - i almost choked...

Too funny, I was almost the same, the radio alarm came on to wake me up and I thought I heard them say Prince was touring and I smashed my bedside lamp in the scramble to grab the radio and turn the volume up. I though I must have dreamt it! So went straight to the computer and logged on to find out and then ran around the house like a loony whooping!!! Transferred funds from Prince savings account onto credit card ready to purchase tix - got to work, booked time off to queue for tickets, booked time off to attend concerts. Og what a buzz, please come back soon or announce rest of world dates so I can plan a trip O/S!!!
