How F%$#@!* good where they. I had the best 2 days of my life friday and saturday, (and I'm in the middle of moving house + my car broke down friday) ... and I DO have a life! the second sydney shows was awsome.I was front row with my girlfriend and we danced our arses off. Dont make up your minds about larry till u hear it 4 ureself. Prince was obviously very happy last nite, especially at the aftershow and it showed in the music. He was quite spectacular, as was the whole NPG Renato awsome performance even though I was in his face since i was so close. Rhonda tore that bass up during 777 9311 Rad and Chance where very cool too. I would be interested in hearing more of her. Maceo and Greg where so cool and funny up close. total masters they are. Blackwell: cool dude. he said i look like freddy mercury at the entertainment center. must be the mo. NOTE 4 Joshy, stop hasling the bloke!! I'm still buzzing from the shows PPL call me rude...

ivdf said: the reason why is simple, at least for non-paisley heads -a.k.a. Prince's ass kissers -: Larry Graham and the JW's have ruined Prince music and career. Those facts have alienated so many old time fans like me. Did you ever happen to think that the JW's are a cult??? Period.
If you're referring to Prince's withdrawl from the recording industry and it's contracts I'm sure that was Prince's decision and had nothing to do with Larry G. I sincerely want 2 fuck the taste out of your mouth

any group of people worshipping anything is a "cult" one belief shouldnt over power another one's beliefs solely on the fact of one's spiritual and emotional choices. hating someone's religion and spiritual path is the same thing as hating someone because of thier color and culture its ignorant and Xenophobic.

You should appreciate the talent that Larry has and feel privelaged to witness such an amazing musician. Get a life! Get your facts straight starbass. Not liking Larry Graham is my choice and it's NOT just because he's a JW. And who said I accept Prince being a JW? He's never been more judgemental in his life. And it floors me that people who think they know Prince can't see that Prince sang about God in a very non-specific way for YEARS. He taught me to search my self for God but now that makes me a "leader" and not a "follower". He wasn't shoving the Bible in our face and telling us how we should worship. And I personally think that Prince and Rhonda are 5 times the bass player Larry is. Larry on stage, let me guess, he's going to thump the bass (which of course he "invented" because no one would have ever figured it out without him ) and then he'll add some fuzz to it and hold say "let me hear it!" I've seen him live BEFORE his association with Prince so it's not just for that reason. So I would LOVE to appreciate the privelage of witnessing an amazing musician, I just wish Larry would MOVE so I could.

you are such a smart ass... in fact i have a healthy life and a nice job, and, as a matter of fact, i was a Prince fan for 15 years, so i know what i'm talking about. Maybe you're too bold to assume a fair critic about Prince and his career. Or, as a Prince fan are you oblidged to like everything he does forever and ever? help wanted? what about you?

Larry is all he is and has done all he has done and I respect that... but, does he always have to upstage everyone when he comes on stage?
I've found it irritating when he stays up front and sort of either blocks whoever is soloing or tries to be part of their solo, and no-one else (including Prince) does that. It starts to be a case of "look at me" whether intended or not, and I don't really dig the heavy bass sound all the time I know there was a period in time when Larry was so heavily part of Prince's shows and that's what a lot of people resented.
