ok, so i think ive posted all feelings, emotions, views, thoughts on the Prince shows in my last reviews.
However, you just can get enough of the man. He is electryfying. His presence is enough to light up any room.
The sydney show was great! almost as good as melbourne no.2... it was a very close 2nd, but only ny a little.

It seemed to take the crowd a little bit longer to warm up than down in melbourne, which in turn had a bit of an effect on the band. But needless to say, they were amazing as per usual. I can never get sick of those guys playing.

Once again the setlist was the same except for the 1st encore. when then keyboard was bought out in the break, all melbournians knew this was a good sign after what we witnessed on wednesday night! The first encore went off! He played 2 more songs than he did in melb - i wanna be your lover and diamonds and pearls. Only the first verse and chorus of each, but it was still good to hear them!
The crowd was going off though and Prince was hearing it! Conversing with the crowd to hype us up with things like "Sydney.. your not ready for me! I can keep going.. your not ready for this.. dont make me go somewhere i dont wanna go!!"
This just made the crowd more hyped up and was awesome to have him doing this. He was loving every minute of it as usual which was great.
Only problem i had.. was the amount of people sitting down? what the hell is with that? its a prince concert! get up and show the man some love!! he even said in the richard wilkins interview that he feeds of the crowd.. if it wasnt for melbourne being so energetic we wouldnt have got the response we did on wednesday!!
Prince was still going off in sydney though. Seeing every show so far.. its been great to see the little differences in each show.. like the difference jams they do, or different solos. The soundchecks have also been great because he has played different songs each time. Classics like Bambi and 17 days... i thought we would never get to hear!

So now that im back home.. i am definatly content with my 5 days of seeing Prince play 7 times.
It will be hard to see another concert for awhile.. as nothing will top this week.

The man is purely a genious and i dont think ive ever known fans of any other artist or band to be as crazy as us prince fans are! its great!!!

anyways i think thats enough from me.. im going to bed.

Thanks for the review 2. I got 2 c Oct 21 and Oct 22... and I am glad that Oct 22 is probably going 2 B as good as it gets.

I had 4 rows from the back and to the side on Oct 22 (after front row on Oct 21) and I still rate Oct 22 as the better concert.

Pity about Bennetts Lane but then only 60 or so ppl got in so I aint gonna lose sleep over that one.

Would have loved to hear Wanna B your lover... but still got ONA to cherish for that one.

oh yeh sorry, i did mean melb 1 as 5th fave!
