the soundcheck in melbourne was amazing, he didnt speak much but he performed for one hour and the band were tight, playing a few trax from expectation (i get confused which track is which) and great versions of elephants and flowers, bambi and whole lotta love. It had the feel and of what i have always imagined an aftershow to be like. it was an awesome experience.

Nice. I couldn'ta told ya which Xpectation song was which either - just that it's intstrumental Prince jazz stuff that I like.

Xmplify was the one he did twice. The second time it segued into When the Saints Go Marching In which was fucking amazing with killer guitar by the man.

Reminded me of Jimmy doing Star Spangled Banner a bit for some reason, although Princes piece was more mellow.
