That show was incredible. I live in HK for 3 years and its my 1rst Prince show ever. We were approx 14000 in the arena. Prince was crazy... That's the set list >:

sounds like a really fun show! the only questions i have are why so few hits if this is 'a retiring the hits' tour and why so many medlies and pieces (as in 1st verse, 1st verse, last verse, quick piece, etc.)

don't get me wrong, i'm not complaining...heck, i'd rather see that setlist than a hits tour! just wondering, that's all.

WOW. I wish I was there. Great set list. Surprised he did Purple rain... I guess it was because it's what the fans expected!

this is clearly a "let's pretend list", word is that the horns on this tour are Maceo and Greg, which clearly makes Eric's so called solos a piece of make believe.
I'm waiting to hear back from a friend in HK, but the after show must have gone late... is anyone gonna post a review for us???

ok... I took a shower and ate something so I'll explain the show :

1. Can't stop this feeling I got < very rock intro with JB on drums, full of lights and horns. approx 5' long
2. M2TP < same version ONA
3. TW1 < same version ONA
4. TQOU / Courtin' time / It's about that walk < jazz medley with horns a lot
5. LPWMarried < strange version with Renato solo, just 2nd verse lyrics
6. Alphabet street < very funky version , short
7. WDC < very xtented version, approx. 7' or 8' , Ronda on bass very rough
8. Xenophobia < as ONA & Eric solo , P left the stage, 10' long
9. Pass the peas < NPG rules, no Prince on stage 3' long
10. HMITDIW < approx 1' as "Parade Tour"
11. Play that funky music < JB cover with P in a blue suit , "Face down" including in the lyrics
12. Controversy < very very funky. The highlights of the show, very long version
13. LGC < very jazzy version, strange but shakin' version
14. WCFunk < very short part of the song
15. 1+1+1 is 3 / Kiss < instrumental version with "Kiss" lyrics, very long also
16. As < Stevie Wonder cover, boring
17. Emancipation < ?, I think it's "Emancipation" but it's quiet funky & blues

So Prince thanks the audience and leave the stage with the NPG

18. Temptations < very rock intro, P plays behind a curtain during 3' , long version
19. Cream < as "hit + run" tour version
20. Mutiny / Head < very short, "Head" instrumental ending
21. Once Upon a time... < Renato solo , Prince leave the stage
22. gett off < very funky but short version
23. The revelation < new track, a mix of "Thunder" and "Rainbow Children", very jazzy with guitars and bass duet , very long
24. Eric solo
25. Start 2 Rain 2night < very very funky masterpiece, short version, approx 4'
26. Purple Rain < too long version, approx 15' with different solo
