I am pleased to bring you the complete list of volumes of the amazing Paisley Diaries™ series of features penned by noted music critic and author, Miles Marshall Lewis. In addition to making contributions to Paisley Diaries publisher, soulhead.com, Lewis has interviewed some of the most influential pop culture figures including Michelle Obama, Prince, Kendrick Lamar and many more.

Paisley Diaries™ kicked off at a very well attended event at The Metaphor Club in the Crenshaw District in Los Angeles, California on November 11, 2020. That event, "Prince Vs. Hip-Hop: A Discussion of The Artist's Complicated Relationship with Rap" began with a reading of "Introducing...Paisley Diaries" by Miles Marshall Lewis that included several music highlights.

After the reading, there was a discussion with Lewis and soulhead.com founder, Ron Worthy (Click here to view the vi...discussion). The event concluded with a lively question and answer segment with the audience, which included the legendary André Cymone (who was there with his wife), members of Prince fan club The BumpSquad and dozens of passionate Prince fans.

In addition to the discussions, the Paisley Diaries™ kick-off event featured several soulhead.com curated playlists, which were played before and after the presentation.

Prince VS. Hip-Hop Playlists

3. Prince VS. Hip-Hop: The ... + Friends - A collection of Prince and associated artists' songs which have explored hip-hop and rap in some way.

The digital series was published from November 8, 2018 to January 2020 and featured Lewis' in-depth commentary and interviews with some of Prince's Paisley Park Records most important musicians including T.C. Ellis, Ingrid Chavez, Susannah Melvoin, Taja Savelle, and Jill Jones. Each thoughtful essay includes rare photos, video and audio relating to the piece as well as unique graphic designs for each volume.
