Liv Warfield All or Nothing Tour kicked off tonight Liv Warfield started her All or Nothing tour tonight in Seattle. She had no horns. And a lot of Ryan's guitar. It was super fun. She played many favs opening the show with The More Things Change. She did Embrace Me and Love and Happiness separately. She gave a nod to Prince when playing The Unexpected. Saeeda Wright did a song which I think is called "The Truth Shall Set You Free". I liked her new song "Mantra" performed live. She came back out to do Blackbird as an encore. It seemed like it might be over, but.... She came back out to introduce the band. And then she along with Saeeda Wright and Redd did an acapella version of Take Me With U. And that was her show. About an hour and 15 minutes of intense and fun music. I know I am forgetting a couple songs. We're heading down to Portland for the show on Thursday when she opens up for Ghost Note. Sacred is the prayer that asks 4 nothing

Last night's Portland show was a little shorter because Liv was opening for Ghost Note. However the set was similar. I really like Mantra live. I always admire musicians who watch their bill-mates. Liv sat right in front of me for part of the Ghost Note's set. And then she, along with Redd and Saeeda came out and did Janet Jackson's "What Have You Done for Me Lately" with Ghost Note toward the end of their set. It's different without the NPG horns. Sometimes Ryan Waters' guitar fills in those parts. And sometimes there is just space left. Sacred is the prayer that asks 4 nothing
