NPG live at New Jersy PAC August -1-2019 Review

Ok quick review. Saw these guys last night at a free concert. The NPG had; Toni M -vocals and guitar? Mr. Haye - Keys, Levi-- guitar and a bassist I have seen before with Prince. Also a great drummer and horn player.Tthe band was very good but I think had Prince been there would have been a lot tighter. Toni M pretended to play a guitar, which I thought was crazy...he obviously wasn't...but all in all it was a fun time and you can't beat the price. The lead singer kept shouting out tributes to Prince...after a while it got too much...you can honor him without worshiping him. The crowd had a good time. My girlfriend wanted to see Wendy and Lisa...I guess we have to go see Revolution next. Toni M's raps were charming...if you liked Prince's stuff in the 90s you will love this show.

Opening act was a local (Newark, New Jersey) talent by the name of Angela Johnson. I loved her stuff.
