I’ve been wanting to see him for a while since a smattering of gigs back nearer to the millennium. I wonder is the incredible Skeet Curtis still touring as his bass man? Man this cat got to plucking and thumping so deep with him one night I saw them and couldn’t comprehend how he was doing it.

Great musicians all around and a fun night. I'm pretty sure it was 'Skeet' Curtis, bass; Bruno Speight, guitar; Will Boulware, keys; Greg Boyer, trombone; Darliene Parker, backing vocals... the drummer, I can't recollect his name. Rodney 'Skeet' Curtis played, well, you said it best. His solo, he made that bass sing.

Nice to hear that I had no idea Boyer was back out with him.

They're doing 6 shows over 4 nights in Seattle in late August. Boyer is always with him.
