I saw Ghost Note in Seattle last night with Mono Neon. They were on fire. a one hour first set and then 90 minutes for their second set. You just know when the band is having a great time, and these men were.

Going to Roy Ayers for an early show in Portland tonight, and Ghost Note for the late show at midnight.

Tomorrow is the Prince tribute with Ghost Note, Mono Neon and some NPG Hornz.

The show in Portland was fun tonight. The first set had a great version of Thieves in the Temple. Just as Long as We're Together and Housequake were also highlights of the first set. The best song of the night was Crazy You during the second set. If I Was Your Girlfriend and Head were also done well in the second set. Mono Neon played both bass and guitar during the show. Phil Lassiter seemed to be having a great time leading the horns. There was a local singer who did vocals on Everlasting Now and Musicology. Those were not highlights. Ghost Note did a great job pulling this together.
