The NPG in NYC @ Sony Hall Friday 1/4 been a while Purple Heads.. still don’t know why I keep coming to the Concerts forum, but I’m def excited about seeing the NPG in concert tomorrow night! Feels good 2 celebrate the music now... The Revolution were AWESOME here @ Sony Hall (great venue btw) and I’m sure The NPG won’t disappoint! Morris Hayes and the crew always bring it! On another note, my wife is sick and can’t make the gig I have a VIP seating ticket as well as pre-show meet and greet ticket. If anyone is interested in seeing this gig and meeting the NPG pre-show, make me a reasonable offer via PM for the single VIP ticket (was $79) and pre-show meet & greet ticket (was $99) and they are yours! I realize ain’t cheap, but how often can U celebrate Prince’s music w/HIS chosen musicians LIVE like it’s supposed 2b? Peace Out got Prince?

I had intended to go, but then heard about the other Prince show tomorrow here in NYC featuring Meshell Ndegeocello and Bilal and bought a ticket to see that instead: https://lpr.com/lpr_event...-4th-2019/

Yeah, I had a ticket to Sony and got sick too. Feels like the entire freakin east coast is a typhoid ward. A friend was at the Paramount show the next night and live streamed a bunch of songs. NPG sounded awesome.
I'm trying not to think about the rarely-played songs I missed seeing live. Dark, Love Thy Will be Done... I'm going to the celebration in April and hoping to see NPG then. [Edited 1/8/19 18:08pm] And the MUSIC continues...forever...

I saw the NPG Paramount show on Saturday and it was surprisingly great. I was skeptical because the NPG don't have as distiinct an identity like the Revolution with all of the rotating members over the years and that later period was never my favorite. But seeing familiar faces like Levi Seacer Jr, Sonny T, Mr. Hayes, even Tony M and Damon was very welcome and the songs sounded really good. It's a nice compliment to the Revolution's shows so I definitely recommend going to see them if you can.
