MAYTE will reunite with THE NEW POWER GENERATION at First Avenue: "We do this show in honor of Prince!"

Mayte will reunite with The NPG at First Avenue on September 13th.

Check out what she posted today and stay tuned for more details:

"I am thrilled to announce to you all that I will be joining @theoriginalnpg onstage Thursday sept. 13 in Minneapolis at first avenue! Lots of beautiful and funky moments will be shared . I hope you can make it !!! #love4oneanother #npg4life #eternallove"

That picture is a nice outtake of a very similar picture.

I like how Michael B. is looking at Prince. lol

Good to see Mayte join the original NPG again, she was definitely a part of that band and era but I´m not quite sure what she´s going to do on stage with this kind of show. It´s going to be a very, very different vibe without Prince.

Planned to be in Minnie a week later, but now my job is being a complete and utter xxx, so who knows maybe I might be able to red-eye it or something. Make it really worth the expense and jet lag.
