Nothing Compares 2 Prince Sydney April 28 Can't find the right thread for this Mods sorry. Songlist from tonight's "tribute show" in Sydney - Concert was sensational ! 17 musicians on stage. Liv Warfield, Cora and Shelby killed it. Tyka sang some of The Ladder and some of Purple Rain. Let's Go Crazy was the slow/rock version. Peterson Brothers were fantastic as were all the others. LOVED IT !!!

Saw nothing compares to prince at Sydney opera house tonight. Real music by real musicians oh yeah.Chicken soup for the soul. Thank Tyka Nelson for bringing this to us-the world will never see another talent like his and was a wonderful celebration of his music which will live beyond us all. For all the naysayers you really missed out. Prince never employed anybody that wasn't at the top of their game.So this was SENSATIONAL! Am grateful to have been there.Also saw the revolution in San Francisco last year also just amazing -he just worked with the best their was. A musical genius amazed the world with his volume of work.Much loved never forgotten but so to his marvellous bands!! | |
