I follow MonoNeon on Facebook and of all the musicians that Prince worked with in the last phase of his life, Mono is the one that got me really curious about a possible next project.

His style, his clothes, his whole approach and of course the idea of a new band, albeit with an old and known face behind the drums, really left me wondering where he was heading with his next project.

That other idea of reinventing the Minneapolis Sound with a huge horn section left me a bit cold, to be honest, especially after I saw the Arsenio performance.

Not that it was bad or anything but the band with Mono Neon sounded more promising.

There were several vids around of NPG performing in Australia. It was clear that the fans were having a great time!

Welcome to "the org", Mumio…they can have you, but I'll have your love in the end nod

KookEaze...
(Or anyone else who wants to respond)
I was just thinking Mono Neon looks pretty cool...except for that sock that dangles from his guitar.
Than I realized: is that because his bass is SO FONKY?????
