i think Quest is a tad more than a DJ. And in that venue it would be awesome!! but the price is $$$.

He is more than a DJ, but in this setting that is what he'll be doing.

I have a friend that's going and I told him that for $175, Questlove better play some stuff that NO ONE has ever heard before!

There was a version of "Take Me With U' that I had never heard before! It sounds jazzy, has a lot of phaser in it, and you can really hear Apples's vocal (such as they are). I'm trying to find out now if that was the very first version, or if it was a re-mix.

All in all, the 19 minutes I heard were fantastic. I will say, it sure seems to have been worth the $175 ticket!

You bet! Hopefully I can get more info from my friend who went. I think he's on an airplane back to Houston today, so it might be a day or so.

For all that he better pass out some CDs

I never really got much of a response from my friend when I asked for a setlist. All he said was "Questlove is always off the chain!" or something like that.
