Doesn't time fly. Ten years ago today, I'm pretty sure it was a Wednesday, Prince began his 21 night residency at London's O2 Arena. In a bizarre choice, he opened the whole shebang with Purple Rain. I was only intending to go to a few, but when opening night came around, I had to get there.

What a couple of months it was. Got to 11 in the end, first, last and some great shows inbetween. And all capped off beautifully with that incredible last night aftershow, featuring Amy Winehouse, my ticket courtesy of pregnant Orger ellieadore (thanks again, hope you are well!)

For London fans this was incredible stuff. Even the tickets were ultra cheap at around £37 each. Great days.
