OMG, that video is by Militant one of the mods here LOL, cringeworthy or what?! He seriously needs to get over himself, he's always way too self important and boastful imo (covering insecurities methinks)! The NPG looking good tho, sounds like they've still got it. Why is this any different from what the Revolution are doing? It can't be one rule for them and another for the NPG!

The NPG are much more spirited and lively in the live clips I've seen than The Revolution. Wendy really seems like she'd sooner be at home although BrownMark definitely brings a good amount of energy to the shows...

We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.

I'm all for good musicians being recompensed for their talent. But while, in principle, I think it's cool that the NPG are back working together and earning, for me, there's something a bit Pet Sematary about both NPG and The Revolution getting back together and touring. Know what I mean? It's like they're the same, but they're not: the spirit of our loved one is gone.

I've seen the Revolution (NY) & NPG (London) live recently , I enjoyed both shows, but The Revolution were far superior, they certainly never felt like they were going through the motions, it never really felt like Prince was missing as he was never going to play a gig with them again, I just enjoyed the gigs for what they were, there was something special about hearing The Revolution playing the classic songs they recorded with him.
It's like comparing a Prince gig from 1984 to 2010, they are completely different experiences, but you can enjoy them both.
