NOthing Compares to u...Are they fvcking kidding? I am sorry but this prince "tribute' doesn't seem too thoughtful at all (so far, that is.) What's the Time portion of the Tribute going to be?--them and Bruno Mars singing Jungle Love and The bIrd?
Can you imagine if the entirety of their Prince tribute is Nothing COmpare to U, Jungle Love and the Bird? It had better be more than that. And dear God, throw one tiny bone to anything recorded after 1990--even if it is just the first couple measures of D and P.
Say what you will about Lady Gaga's David Bowie tribute. At least, the songs came from more than one decade.

I think this is just the Clive Davis pre-party. Hopefully the Grammy's will do Prince and George Michael right. | |

I saw Mary J. Blige and Maxwell in November 2016 when they came to Philly. Right before Maxwell started performing, guess what song played...Kiss (the album/radio version). Needless to say, I was dancing and singing along the whole time. It was one of my favorite moments of the concert. -- Maxwell is a great live performer by the way. I went to the concert mainly for Mary J., although I do like Maxwell. I enjoyed her performance, but I really liked Maxwell's performance...he puts on a great show.
