Prince no more concerts Miss that feeling of anticipation and excitement hearing when and where Prince will perform next. This is hitting me the most at the moment. The silence on the org , facebook and twitter. I know i ain't alone with this
Sorry if am making people more depressed with this it's not my intention just need to open my heart about this in particular. I knew this would be the hardest thing.

I know what you mean, I just listened to one of his piano solos, it starts off "what's your name?" I couldnt help for crying. I dont care if I didnt get to a concert, I just wish he was alive, just alive

Yep. It's a hurtful place, the world, in and of itself. We don't need to add to it. We all need one another. ~ PRN

The other day, I was listening to a recording of an aftershow I attended some years ago. At the actual show, there was a moment when I realized that the looooong intro the band had been playing was going to turn into Mountains - and I suddenly had tears, realizing that I was about to hear one of my favorites live.
The exact same thing happened when I listened to that recording last week - at that very moment. Only this time, it was even sadder because I knew that kind of magic will never happen again. [Edited 11/7/16 7:04am] We don’t mourn artists because we knew them. We mourn them because they helped us know ourselves.
