I wanted to see if anyone feels like I do with regard to the upcoming memorial concert for Prince. I am really just tired of everyone that will be singing his music, especially Stevie Wonder. The last thing I want to end the year on is a vision of Stevie Wonder singing a Prince song. I mean like I know he was a friend and inspiration, but come on, Stevie Wonder is always around for every show in the world and I think I would like to keep my own personal memories of Prince as long as I can without all of the other artists singing his songs. Anyway, I am thirsty for some new Prince music from the vaults. That is what they should be doing, "Releasing New Music" so that we can enjoy Prince's contributions even more. Not some memory of the "Part Time Lover" singer, singing Purple Rain. I am just getting that Jennifer Hudson rendition out of my memory banks and here comes another one.
