Friday is fixed and $39.21 now!!!!

Yes got 2 for Friday. $39 vs $89 I just couldn't bring myself personaly to spend that much extra for 2 tickets to get in 2 hours early. That's just me though. I'll be upset though if the free gift is something really nice.

i24u, it'll undoubtedly be something we can buy somewhere else, maybe even at the event. I don't think they'll pass on making money any way they can. See you there on Friday! smile

$250 to meet and greet someone who happened to be related to Prince. If this isn't using his passing for blatant fan exploitation I don't know what is. If they are delusional enough now to act like royalty, then heaven help us when they inherit the estate.

Agreed. I can't think of many things tackier. Who are these people? Making money off a memorial and grieving fans?

Ummmmm...you don't have to pay that much, you know.

FYI. According to the name of these three special events, the dance parties are going to last "until dawn". This means that, if they wish, those attending the tribute concert at Xcel can also attend the dance party afterwards. Let's please try to keep this positive. Prince's family have stated their support for the Xcell official tribute on Twitter: "The Twin Cities will be IT this October" and they say that it's because of the following: -#PRNFamily Dance Parties -Official Prince Tribute -Paisley Park Tours -Our Beautiful State

So who do you work for? Do you get paid by the post? The family? The estate?

Your posts reek with commercial intent.

I hope that's not the case. Both Judith Hill and Liv Warfield are scheduled to perform at Xcel and apparently are special guests at the dance parties. It is telling though that PRNFamily hasn't said anything about the Xcel show and Londell McMillan hasn't commented on these dance parties.

FYI.

According to the name of these three special events, the dance parties are going to last "until dawn". This means that, if they wish, those attending the tribute concert at Xcel can also attend the dance party afterwards.

Let's please try to keep this positive.

Prince's family have stated their support for the Xcell official tribute on Twitter:

"The Twin Cities will be IT this October" and they say that it's because of the following:

-#PRNFamily Dance Parties

-Official Prince Tribute

-Paisley Park Tours

-Our Beautiful State

Well OK they mentioned it once so I stand corrected. Let's see who from the family shows up at Xcel because they also tweeted this when the twitter account first went up (though it appears to have been deleted now). This account went live right around the time the Xcel ticket went on sale.

Follow the @PRNFamily 4 all 'official' & fully endorsed announcements on any #Prince related information. πŸ’œ

I was a bit irritated they didn't announce prices or that it was 21 and over. My 19 year old sister is going and I almost bought us tickets but called the venue and they told me it was 21 and older only. That's cool, since this is clearly being advertised as a dance party that is going to be heavy on the adult beverages-with bottle service and all-just would have liked the info. out there. Can't wait to hear about it though!

hmmm, wish they could change the age rule neutral . one of my favorite things about paisley park was the all ages and sober atmosphere, but i hope the purplearmyvibe will outshine the beveragevibe on those nights cool

Me neither. I also don't see any problem with the family letting people know that they aren't necessarily in agreement with everything going down irt estate stuff, events, etc... It's great that these parties are going on so late so that people can do the tribute and parties if they want to.

I get the feeling Bremer, Londell, Graceland etc. are just the scapegoats. It's easy to go after lawyers and banks assuming all they care about is money and don't have Prince's best interests in mind. But selling VIP tickets for $250 to meet his siblings....seriously? And people think a $12 tasting menu of his favorite foods is tacky...

You can't make this stuff up.

I haven't seen any reports of his performing, but since Andre will be in the Twin Cities, does anyone know if he will be at the Tribute Concert? If not, I wonder why?

As it stands, he's at the music nights, but not the main event. Sound's like he's been bumped for some wanna be X Factors.

Could you elaborate, please? Surely, he was invited to the Tribute concert.

Pretty sure it was that thread started by 'Ya Think' asking 'if you could have 5 mins with the family what would you do/say?' Guess the replies triggered this? Though not sure how they go from that to thinking $600 to meet them. If I couldn't afford to pay $$$$ for a VIP at a Prince concert, I sure can't pay $600 to meet his family disbelief
