Creepy review of Oakland show

http://floodmagazine.com/33257/live-prince-gets-intimate-with-piano-and-a-microphone-2282016/

The whole thing is very well-written and worth reading. Oakland was one of the best shows on this tour. I noticed this, which is sad in a general way:

"Both sets were announced just last week and sold out within minutes. No follow-ups are currently scheduled, causing diehard fans to fly in from throughout the country because—who knows—they could be the only North American shows on the Piano and a Microphone Tour."

But then there's this:

"With his flock in a dizzied state, Prince threw a knockout punch of “Nothing Compares 2 U,” “Purple Rain,” and “Kiss.” While these songs did not conclude the show, the Purple One could have finished with a beginner’s take on “Chopsticks” and still come away on top."

I wonder if he read this. He seemed to read a lot of his reviews that tour as evident on his Twitter.

Thanks for sharing this lovely review. Why do you think it's "creepy"?

Could be because in subsequent shows he played Chopsticks.

He could HAVE read the review and for a little friendly jab at the journalists, he played chopsticks. He's a funny guy that Prince! Peace and Love.

Think it's considered creepy because Prince played chopsticks at his final PP party so the Purple One did indeed finish with a beginner’s take on “Chopsticks. I personally don't think that's creepy but whatevs.
