Okay, for the people coming tomorrow. I got here right at 7, which was a bad idea, obvs. The staff still called out the VIP holders and we got in to get patted down, wrist wrapped, stamped, and to the coat check to get our laminate. Bars all over, downtown prices for beers and drinks. Bring cash, but they do take cards. There is an atm on the upper level by the men's latrine. Looks like people that had the nonvip were let in near 8. Word was that the show started Friday at 930. Currently, I'm listening to Questlove warm up the crowd. Lots of demos, rarities, associated artists. True fan shizz.

I had to PRINCE-ma-cate her. Seriously, though--Bilal does justice to Prince songs... If this line-up were to tour, I would definitely go see them. Wish I were at First Avenue right now...Did they play Possesed? I heard they played it during sound check yesterday. I was so hoping they would have played it last night. 1980-Present

Thats...eerie as hell... Did you know that Mark Chapman had a list of people to kill and at the top of the list were David Bowie and John Lennon? Chapman staked out Bowie but couldn't get near him...and sought out Lennon instead.
