Prince just tweeted that the Atlanta shows have been rescheduled to this Thursday night, 7 PM and 10 PM, at the Fox Theater.

Great to hear Prince is feeling better. It's awfully short notice for people who want to go, though. Hope some orgers can make it.

Welp, gonna miss this one. I have a conference the following week, flying to seatle the week after. Sucks, but there will be two sweeet tickets available tomorrow.

Yep, I'll be heading back that way myself. I have to work that day, but will be leaving, after I finish up a visit with a case manager that afternoon, to head to Atl. Doc posted a tweet about an afterparty, too, and I had one moment of DAGNABBIT, I have to teach on Friday, and they pulled the tweet. :-/ So, now I don't know if there is an afterparty, but was thinking about teaching asleep if need be. I've never been to an afterparty and it would be so great to go to one! Just wish work would cooperate a little bit this week.

Already called my second job, as soon as it posted that it was this Thursday because I was scheduled to return to work this Thursday night, and told them that I wouldn't be coming in Thursday or Friday nights, but I would be willing to work on Sunday in exchange. Ugh, I've just got it set up to where Sunday is the only day off from both jobs that I have each week. Well, it's not like I haven't worked several weeks in a roll without a day off, I can do it this week, too!

Prince is doing real good to be getting over the flu so quickly. Having the flu at his age is an very, very serious matter. I'm glad he's back in good health again.

I'm beyond sad. I just returned home Saturday morning.

This was the concert of my dreams...Prince and the Piano...Really!?!

Heart broken. But I truly thank God Prince is feeling better.

Only me attending a another one of these concerts, a concert at Paisley Park or a concert in Paris, while running a race, could even touch this incredibly wonderful opportunity💫✨💫

I was getting out of a car in the parking lot, outside the Fox Theater, when a fan shared the news...speechless...but concerned for Prince because I adore him and his gifts. Later that night it sunk in all the sacrifices made to get to Atlanta.

Flights back to Atlanta were just too expensive to try to come back in a few days.

Truly bummed... But you know from my heart I truly wish you all like an exceptional unbelievable phenomenal concert experience of a lifetime

You're right, but at least he rescheduled the shows soon unlike a certain performer.

But having said that, I'm trying to keep in mind that he is just recovering from the flu and after doing two shows in one night, he's probably going to be too tired to do an aftershow.
