Well, I'm not going to Detroit to see the other one! I'd miss Prince that way. Getting very excited. Going to go down early and find some places in Atlanta to photograph, get my tickets, and just enjoy these next 2 days in Atlanta. Hoping to have time to go to Centennial Olympic park, the Botanical Gardens, Georgian Terrace Hotel (a friend of mine had a relative that performed in GWTW and from my understanding many of the cast stayed there during the premier of the movie in Atlanta), and Oakland Cemetary. A strange hodgepodge of places to go, waiting to see the concert, and on Friday, but I don't get many days off of work, and since I love photography, this will be my relaxing time.

If you like to hike, then Stone Mountain is a good one. It isn't far from downtown and great views from the top. It is very touristy and crowded but still cool. (And you can take the tram to the top if you don't want to hike up)

Kennesaw Mtn is good too and more wooded. Also Vickery Creek Park in Roswell has a good waterfall (and hiking trail) that is good for photos.

Put it on Craigslist, for cost, and good chance someone would buy it. So did you buy front row ticket elsewhere or get it online. Where is it?

I put it on Craigslist, but the bites I got just left me feeling a bit weird. I don't usually sell things online so I guess I'm a bit skeptical of everyone lol.
I got the tickets when they were originally released on March 30th from the Fox Theatre.

I was able to sell the ticket to an Org member. You were right. I should've known that "dis where the party be" lol. I feel so much better having sold it to a person here versus somewhere else

I planned to take Uber transportation back to a friend's home after the show but now I hear there's an after-party at the Opera✨❇✨

If anyone is nearby or lives in the Riverdale/Fayetteville/Jonesboro and will be attending I would pay for a ride from the concert/AfterParty instead.

I'm from out of town so if any Orgers are going to the After Party from the 10 p.m. show, I would love, to have a ride with you then I'll take Uber from there if needed😋

ATLANTA, Ga. - In a statement issued by the FOX Theatre, “It is with profound regrets that Prince has to postpone two shows scheduled for tonight at the Fox Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. Both shows, scheduled at 7 and 10 PM, as part of his Piano & A Microphone Tour, will be postponed as the entertainer is battling the flu.”

All tickets for tonight’s shows will be valid for the rescheduled performances. Refunds are also available at point of purchase. Rescheduled date will be announced as soon as possible.

Apparently the show wasn't canceled until just several hours before showtime. I seriously doubt he just woke up with the flu. Most likely it's something else, but regardless, he doesn't feel up to doing the shows and being able to do his best, then smart move to cancel them.

I'm bummed though because planned my entire week around this and have great seats. At least I didn't have to travel here though.

Oh well, just the way it goes but I'm seriously disappointed. :-/

I drove downtown.................and I really dislike driving downtown during rush hour.

Ohh well............I guess that is how it goes sometimes.
