I was at the show at Perth Arena in Australia on the 25th. It was awesome! 14 000 people in the round and everone was standing by the end. A 14 000 person "choir" is amazing, sound was outstanding. I went home deaf from crowd noise. Don't miss it, you won't regret it.

The prices for the lower seats are very expensive, very disappointing, Prince is making an absolute killing on this tour, can see this tour going on for some time. Me, I might just pour a glass of wine, find a quiet room and put a good quality bootleg of the tour on , close my eyes, and pretend I'm there! (No I don't have one YET.)

Ticket prices are outrageous! What has happened with Prince? He has become a joke and unfortunately his fans have become the punchline! These random shows and eratic behavior are like an addict only concerned about their next fix. I can't, in good faith, contribute to his schemes anymore.

The truth his Prince is pushing 60s he knows his best days are behind him so if he can get the big dollars good for him. The marketplace will decide when the prices are too high.

This show would play better multi No More Haters on the Internet.

Well, one thing is for sure... for bigger shows you don't have to worry about getting tickets. They don't sell out as they used to. There are tons of great tickets still available and I I suspect that they blocket the sale of the cheaper tickets to push for higher value tickets. I am almost 100% sure that some upper sections will be closed off and that folks will get upgradeed at the venue (like we say during previous tours)
The good news is that I no longer will stress out about ticket sales

no your not , your a very tiny part, the ones who will pay whatever he wants to see him, he needs to play the hits and casual people to sell the tickets for arenas. casual people dont care they only want to hear purple rain thats his mass target audience.

I saw him on sunday and can just afford a $50 ticket for this show. the Oracle kind of sucks too for a piano concert. I just checked TM and was offered sec F,row 2, (right upfront) for 500.. no cheap tix left but will check on friday afternoon and just be ready to go!

there are 1000 tickets on stubhub, just wait and watch the prices fall , the venue has tons of unsold seats
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
Totally agree. If I was a local, I'd wait till the day of the show before buying tix. I bet good and cheap seats are gonna pop up. Ticketmaster is a racket - they try to trick you into thinking shows are sold out when they aren't.

My favorite part is when TM keeps offering you the same tickets you don't want over and over and over...again. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

its not ticketmaster thats prince and the promoter all tm does is sell what there given at a certian time, and all releases come from the promoter and prinve and venue , tm is just the vechicle to get you the tickets
- E-mail - orgNote - ![]() |
TM has done the same thing with other shows I wanted to attend that were supposedly sold out. "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

its prince and the promoter , tm can sell what there given , there the middle man.

ok do you goto any concerts these days? This isn't the 80's. Prince is a Top Shelf live artist. It doens't get any better. His prices are actually pretty reasonable comopared to other artists out there commanding 10 times whatt he's charging. This show in particular is well woth the money. Saw it Sunday and if I didn't have a commitment I would see it again.

about three years ago here in MN i bought tickets to a prince show for something like $150 each. come to the day before the concert, ticket monster (or whoever) let the unsold tickets go for $50 just to sell the remainder. that was when i learned that something is really fishy in the ticketing industry....

I paid $200 to stand next to the stage to see Prince in 2013; that was more than worth the money for the experience. That won't happen in this instance. Some things can't be topped.
