I would have to say show 1 was closer to 110 - 115 minutes, he started at 6.50pm and finished at 8.42pm. There was 2 small breaks of about 2 - 3 minutes and 2 minutes of classical music at start giving a total playtime of about 105 - 110 minutes.

Show 2 started on time at 10pm and wwent through to 12am or 12.05am with about 5 minutes of breaks around 11.05pm and again at 11.25 -28pm and 11.46 -48pm f=giving a total playtime of 118 - 121 minutes.

I was wearing a watch and digesting live performances in the way the average geek with an IQ of 130 would, rather than just getting down like most people (I was doing that too!)

Was that Melbourne? I believe he was grieving Vanitys death then - Sydney he was better I met ppl that went to Melbourne and they agreed You have to remember he is human and performing under those cercumstances would have been extremely difficult even for Prince

No Auckland shows. Incredibly Vanity was not even mentioned, either he is over it and moved on or he thought the audience may not know of her much.

It's not on us to entertain how someone else responds to a bereavment and then form conclusions about how they feel about it. It's none of our business and this desire to be included in Prince's personal thoughts and dissapointment when we're not is a little creepy. Sorry mate but there it is.

The guy's a professional and was doing his job a week after he lost a former girlfriend from over 30 years ago. It ain't a circus and I ain't no voyeur. Just be happy he played Adore especially for you!

Cool, I am always a bit oblique expressing myself in words. I am a socially awkward person and at times, especially times of great excitement like Prince concerts, my mild autism shines through (Yes despite my intellect, I am on the spectrum).

I am beyong mega grateful for that concert, and thankful Prince came to New Zealand 37 years after he became a star. I knew it was a once in a lifetime experience and will cherish it forever. Part of the reason why I decided to record it, do the reviews and the videos which have leaped to about 250 views in 5 days.

I love Prince and his music no matter what and he gave his very best here and I am very pleased, and I hope he is pleased and the 3 or 4 thousand lucky people who saw these shows along with the 10 - 15k of fans in Australia. To watch Prince is to like watch magic in front of you, he is a consummate showman who can carry the audience in the palm of his hand. Adjectives and superlatives can not sum up adequately his talent and stage presence, and I mean that.

Anyone should count themselves blessed to be in the presence of this greatness and the magic he creates on a stage, Prince is not a concert, it is an experience, a trip into the sublime and mystifying.
