10yo? For those that have seen the Piano and a Microphone gig, would it be inappropriate for a 10yo?
Under normal cuircumstances i wouldnt even give this a second thought. But given the concert theme (ie not a rock concert) and his "clean" act in his elder years. i am wondering.
Miss 10yo absolutely adores Prince. My better half blames me I have to be very VERY selective with his back catalogue though and she seems to be the prime target of his last few records.
So, opinions please.

Absolutely bring your 10 yo. Lots of us parents bring their kids to Prince gigs these days. My son was 8 for London in 2007 and he came to Paris gig in 2011. I would just advise seats as the size of the crowds can be overwhelming for kids. Also they deserve a good view. My only regret was I didn't bring him to see James brown in October 2006 before he passed away.

Yeah she'll be OK, as far as Prince is concerned - the "Days of Wild" times are over...it's the old skool fans with Dirty Minds you have to keep an eye out for ~Shakalaka!~..... ~Mayday!~

Definately agree with passing on the funk, though just couldn't justfiy the $400. Even my wife upon hearing it was $400 said she's glad i couldnt get 2 tkts and would prefer a new pair of shoes!
Prince did say life would be better with a pair of good shoes. Who am i to argue!

I was 11 when I first saw Prince on the D&P tour! The usher even said to my sister and I 'does your mother know you're here?' My Dad took us cos he knows what a talent he is and that we needed to see it. Changed my life. Prince has been my #1 ever since.
My parents would screen some of what I could and couldn't listen to at home up until a certain age though.

My daughter went to her first Prince concert at 9. I was nervous (just because it was her first Prince concert; what if he reverted to young Prince?!), but she had a great time and I had nothing to be nervous about. I haven't been to a Prince concert in the last 12 or so years that has had anything inappropriate in it (and I've/we've been to a few). I'm sure your daughter will love it. If you can afford to be close to the stage, do it! I'm sure your daughter will always cherish the memory.
