Hello everyone

I'd love to hear if anyone has some ideas about where to party after Prince on Saturday night in Sydney!!....

...I'd love to think that if there was an official party, the planets would align and somehow I'd be in the right place at the right time, but in the absence of this, I thought Id manifest an awesome time anyway!

I think we're all thinking the same thing! In 2012 we found out from fellow Prince Org-ers at drinks before the show. I'll be at shows on the 20th and 21st and eager to see what happens on both nights.

I am keen to see what happens too - all sounds a great idea.

soo, Prince performs for nearly 4 hours, and maybe doing the same tomorrow, and you think there will be an after party! I wouldnt hold your breath.

Yes, that is what I thought to, so headed off back to the Motel not long after the 10pm show ended. I was cashed up in case it happend, but happy for that show as it was so intimate anyway. Sitting in the Stalls Row N Middle seat - was fabulous.

with sydney lockout after 1am ,not a single person can get ino a club to see him play. you would have to be at the place before 1am to see him. if there is an aftershow it will likely be on the moon.

Thanks for the review. Wow, what an 'awesome' venue, seems like most of the regulars there were clearly not there for the music

I'm always amazed at how some 'professional' DJs, I use the term professional in that they're getting paid for the gig, retreat into a hole and play only cheesy 80's/90's wedding-type music and not have passion for diverse range of music. Prince is in the building, sheeeet, try something, play something funky, play something with a groove, play some afrobeat, play some Earth Wind & Fire, P-Funk, James Brown etc. You have a laptop, you have a phone, tether it, launch Spotify, Soundcloud, Mixcloud, anything is going to be better than what you're already playing. Try something bro!

Is it really that hard? Wonder who suggested he go to that venue anyway.
