Use your mobile phones for ticketek, guys. I got into the site with the mobiles, but I don't think it has popped up once with the PC web browser.

If there was a cheaper ticket for the first Opera House concert, I'd take one, but it is only the $400 tickets left, and I can't justify two premium tickets, plus flights, plus accommodation.

yep, agree 100% with this...and it still isn't perfect. I've maanged to compelte 1 out of 4 purchases...got seat number and completing transaction each time.

The website still hasn't gone past the front page.

...and in breaking news...just got confirmed payment ofr the earlier show! Again a $400 ticket...would rather not have paid that, but I'm in Sydney anyway, hey ho!

Well I didn't get a single seat at any of the Sydney shows..

.

so at least 1/4 of Peach & Black won't be attending..

Not sure how the other guys got on in this bloodbath..

Hard to believe I've been on the org for over 25 years now!

Ok, panic over...got a ticket for the 10pm show at the opera house...

So then I go in to the 6:30 show and am putting in payment details for another Circle seat...and it times out again!

I'll cost me a fortuen to fly to Sydney and stay over, so I might as well go twice. Wife is gonna kill me anyway...

[Edited 2/8/16 17:42pm]

I'm glad to hear it. I changed my mind and got a ticket to the 6:30 show too, but via the Opera House site for that one. I didn't have too many problems with it.

A $1000+ trip coming up, and I have no idea how to tell the wife.

Oh dear, sorry some of you have missed out. I am getting worried now as the gigs are not showing on ticket master or Auckland live sites. I have to say it so it does not happen (Called Murphys Lawing) Prince do not cancel the Kiwi part of your tour. We are EXPECTING you will honour your promise to the people and fans of the great state of NEW ZEALAND!

.

Why do the Aussies get to buy today, but we have to wait until Thursday.

.

Murphys law is when the opposite of what you want to happen will happen.

No luck to get a single ticket for Melbourne. $400 is too much for me.

For those lucky, enjoy the show!

I wish I knew it would be the $400 tickets that would sell last. I would have got the $100 ticket first, then the $400 ticket later. Oh well! It's done now.

A-Reserve Circle for the 6:30 at Opera House, and Stalls for the 10 show. The Opera House ticketing might have ripped me off in comparison.

Flights booked too. Now I just need accommodation (without even considering the transport around Sydney).

Long time reader of this forum but never felt the need to add my opinions. The frustration I just experienced with the Ticketmaster sale has compelled me to have a rant. I didn't realise I would be penalised for being a Mac User but the Safari browser would only show me the Premium & Ultimate packages @ $700 and $900ish. Too rich for me. Over to Google Chrome and my options increased but so did my FOMO. Decided to shoot for category 1 and had a row J seat lassoed but because I don't use Chrome very often my Ticketmaster sign in and my credit card details needed to be entered manually and it timed out before I could complete the transaction. Tried again to secure a row U seat at the State Theatre in Melbourne @ 1000pm on Tues 16th. $400 makes it the Gold plated Experience, but still feeling lucky, I suppose. Bring back the NPGMusic Club. 2003 was a breeze. I want that again. Prince you better bring it.

Very ordinary ticketing.... Have been a massive fan since 83 , Was hoping to go with my wife & two children, but alas you can only buy 2 tickets. Was willing to go by myself , but couldn't even get through.........

I've heard that there were hardly any tickets for the other categories, and that most tickets were at $400. Good trick that.....

Sounds about right. I got in right at 12.00 and scored row A of the balcony. Not bad seats, but that leaves half the theatre as $400 seats. Has anybody come across seating plans to work out how the seats were divided between tiers?

Life it ain't real funky unless you got that orgPop.

I've got Circle 1 (row D, so near the front) and Circle 2 (row P so mid way back) at the Opera House, both were $400. The stalls are in front of the Circles. Looks like anything in the middle was $400. Cheaper tickets must be at the side or the very last few rows (I remember the last 2 rows at the top of the auditorium in Brisbane Entertainment Centre being the cheap seats...litterally 1% of the capacity)

I called the State Theatre yesterday in preparation, The guy told me that the prices reflected promiximity to the stage on each level. Which turns out to be b***s**t. I have managed to purchase a premium fan package at $700 and a $400 ticket in the stalls. I never got the opportunity to purchase anyything cheaper than $400. Cynically, they have got software monitoring demand and because it was massive the minimum priced ticket became $400 very quickly.

You wouldn't need software to monitor that. Easy predicted, almost no risk of overestimating the demand.
