If I had my tickets first, it would be easier............I am not sure I am as brave as you are, booking flights without having a concert ticket. Are you going Saturday?

I can hold seats for you and lock in the price until after you get or don't get tickets. There's no dilemma. I'm offering to help. I am a flight centre broker in Auckland. I can email you the itineray with held seats in 5 minutes and then you can pay for them if you need them AFTER you've tried for concert tickets or you can grab jetstar tickets if it's cheaper than what I have held. I won't charge a booking fee so I'm doing it for free as a favour.

shane.lust.nz@flightcentre.co.nz if you need me. I'm at my desk now. Just need your name to pencil in seats. I'll just let them go if you fail to get tickets.

You won't be alone. Grab two tickets and you'll shift the 2nd one through here easy and have someone to go with. :)

Your call but why not have flights safely held by me prior to midday so at least you have all your ducks in a row if you decide to brave it.

VIP offer 2:

OFFER 2: PREMIUM FAN PACKAGE w/ COCKTAIL PARTY (Rows 6-15)

No prices ....

I would have to drink a lot of cocktails to get my moneys worth from that.

Sounds good. Though I can't handle beer before a show. I'll be up and down like a yoyo.

Those "VIP" packages are just the ticket agencies pocketing some extra money for themselves. It shouldn't be allowed. They will probably be the last tickets left, and people will resort to paying those ridiculous prices just to get in.

Oh the anxiety - trying to pretend I am working and having a meltdown as I am stuck in a que like everyone else. I decided to try for the Opera House tickets and then organise the flights and accommodation - but I think I am going to miss out somehow but trying to stay positive. I wish us ALL the best - shame the Orgers dont get first dibs, what an audience that would have been.
