Man I'm quite glad I decided to sit out of this one now, it's turned into a bit of a debacle and I would have been pretty disappointed if I'd been trying to get tickets. Still I hope this mess gets sorted soon so you guys can get tickets.

Whatever the reasons for this, its gonna come back as bad publicity for him - he may 'never get bad reviews' for his stage shows, but the constant c*ck handed mood changes/alterations/removing schedules/albums etc are doing him no favours. I'm mindful he's not 100% to blame, but I don't see many other artists of his stature changing plans so late, so frequently. The tickets may go on sale today, but how many of us took time out of our non rock star lifestyles to try their best to pay a lot of money to see an artist we love perform, at extremley short notice? The guerilla gigs were a novel idea, but ffs - its November/December, in the UK and I just can't keep putting my life on hold for Prince. Good luck to those who want to que on the day, if this is the way its going to go - I won't be one of them.

unbelievable that after 40 years in the bussiness he is not able to organize a tour. Just check out KRaftwerk who puts names on tickets and checking at the door. What is the problem? It all has to do with the last minute way of thinking. You cant organize a tour like this in one week. Impossible.

ANd indeed, bring back the NPGMC....

I don't, but Im sure if I did, I wouldn't be reading the headline 'Prince postpones concert ticket sale as he was looking to thwart touts...and then slashes ticket prices to compensate frustrated fans' More likely 'tempremantal artist shows signs of disorganistion...again'

So the touts then just queue up, buy the tix and then sell it cash in hand to a punter on the street. Where does this solve the problem. You cannot sell the tix to people as they walk into a show. Charlie And The Chocolate Factory will be waiting for a week to get their theatre back.

I was the 9th in line for the Vienna concert queueing for tickets since 6am in the cold and was told 10 minutes before the sale was supposed to start that Prince stopped it. And I might not get a ticket at all when the sale starts again. You obviously have no clue what you are talking about .
