The thought of seeing him do an intimate gig 10 minutes from my house (in Liverpool) is quite surreal. A nice change from going to Manchester or London. . I'll sell my wife and kids to get in there
Don´t even think that!
My thoughts exactly, on second thoughts selling my wife would cover the cost of the tickets!! Nothing is stopping me getting front section seats for Echo arena Liverpool |

United Kingdom and Western European fans, enjoy! Of course, everybody will be watching out to see how all unfolds. If this concert event is to be as advertised it will allow Prince the opportunity to show his chops on the grand old pianoforte. This should be pretty thrilling if he brings all of his musical skill to the occasion.
>
I'm excited for those who will be in attendance, and I hope he does his best--I think that your audiences will allow him the opportunity to do so! |

So?
P is not Wibi Soerjadi. (look him up)
So it won't be piano, more likely a synth and then the cat is out of the bag.
I have to say, that thought crossed my mind too. But we're talking about two completely different musicians here. Let's not compare apples to pears (as we say in our country) and not judge too soon.
Indeed. I'd rather it was just him and a guitar than just him and a piano, and the thought of an entire show of ballads is horrific to me (I'd rather it was an entire show of the synth set, even), but let's wait and see what he has in mind. A Prince solo tour is something I've always wanted to see.
The only thing P can play at a piano is a ballad?! [Edited 11/10/15 6:33am]The Max.... From what I saw him play in Montreux I think this is a great example of a non-ballad he could play on the Piano. |

Will he talk a lot to the audience? Somehow I have the idea that in this kind of show the performers actually have to talk a lot, introduce the songs and tell little stories rather than shouting 'I have so many hits' |

Saying that he done bits of talking in between songs on the MTV Musicology acoustic segment and done it well |

Prince can take or leave the Beatles. Actually, I'd be surprised if he even knew where Liverpool was...let alone the Cavern Club. |

Actually, Prince did a long piano stint at his infamous four hour Hollywood gig last year. It was nestled between the big band and 3rd eye girl sections. Had it all really. Now, that's my kind of gig. |

That would be $320.65 in U.S. dollars... "Music gives a soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination and life to everything." --Plato

Tour begins 21st Nov in Vienna, then 22nd Nov in Brussels. Dec 13th is Barcelona. More details to come!
I'm so excited about this. I have wanted Prince to do this in forever. I hope it really is as SOLO as this sounds. Just him and the piano is something I wasn't sure we'd ever get to see. This could be the best thing he's ever done

As we get confirmation of venues and dates, I will also update the Concert performance page:
