I always get a vicarious kick out of this sort of thing. Glad to hear you enjoyed the shows. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

I will co-sign this. Yes, he played a lot of the hits, where I prefer some deeper cuts, BUT the venue was so small that every seat was an amazing seat. I ended up just standing there most of the time and *watching* him. I've never seen him that close before. My husband wasn't sure if something was wrong. I told him that the highlight of the show for me (besides the awesome music), was being able to just see him so up close and in action (directing the band, facial expressions). Amazing. Of course, I just wish he wasn't a control freak and that we could have gotten some nicer pictures, etc., but I realize that comes along with being a P. fan.~ ~Karebear~

"better love eachother . i ts almost time to go ....." Actually the entire day was like a movie here's the story First me and my girlfriend who has never been to a concert in her life got to the theater three hours early we just wanted to make sure . Then I parked the car I had the tickets for the first show in my hand .she told me to leave them in the car until it was time to enter the theater but of coarse with me being a man I said ingot this . We got something to eat and went for a few walks after the rain .long story short I lost the tickets . I was in shock . Luckily no one picked them up .inhad to drive back home about 20 minutes away and print the tickets out agin.that was only the beginning . We sat in our seats for ypthe first show they were good seats . Right in the middle . My girlfriend got so excited she passed out . The staff at the theater were very helpful with making sure she was okay . I thank them for that . After she recooperated and drink plenty of water we were back tongue amazing sho ps .we missed the first half hour but the show was still amazing .then it was time for show number two. I knew our seats were close but when the usher said to us that we were in the front row my jaw dropped there was a nice couple sitting in the next row and he said the same thing . It was amazing . We could hear them tuning there instruments before the show started. We were right in front of the big purple curtain . Then a few minutes later the show started and we were only a few inches away from him. Him and the band gave us eye contact many times especially Joshua he seems like a cool guy . Prince shook my hand and one of the horn players did as well . I also got one of his white fender guitar pics again thank you prince and the Warner theater staff for being so helpful and making it an enjoyable experience . | |
